We believe that protecting the planet and people is essential to producing products that support a healthy, sustainable world. Our mission of ‘making organic fruits and vegetables available for everyone’ is supported by our idea of a better world, consisting of: a better planet, happier people, and complete transparency.

BETTER PLANET (ECOLOGICAL IMPACT / CARBON FOOTPRINT)

At Organto, we are respectful to nature and do what is right for long-term sustainability. Across continents, there is always a right place and right time on earth to grow our organic fruits and vegetables. Therefore, we have selected farms all over the world and follow the seasons in order to have our products available year-round in ample supply. Therefore, we grow them in the best conditions against the lowest possible ecological footprint, as it is meant by mother nature. And by opting for sustainable transport. And by using as little (and if so then recycled, recyclable or biodegradable) packaging materials as possible.

We are constantly taking steps to achieve our goals of delivering high-quality products with complete transparency and minimizing our ecological footprint, carbon neutral for our I AM Organic® brand.

Our strategy is integrated from “farm to fork”. Driven by consumer and retailer demand for healthy and organic food products, we continue to build value-added branded and private label products via an integrated model with diverse global friendly sourcing, logistics, processing, and distribution capabilities.

We at Organto are a diverse team specialized in fresh food produce. Passionate and driven to deliver the best possible products and services to all stakeholders and ultimately consumers. We work together as a team and we honour and respect our customers, supply chain partners and team members. We believe that good conditions create happy people.

We support our growers, share knowledge, and minimize the length of the ‘farm to fork’ supply chain, to maximize the growers’ returns. We invest in and support a sustainable sourcing program that encourages and trains small growers to produce top quality organic crops and help their local community to develop and create a better future for their workers and their children.

COMPLETE TRANSPARANCY

Transparency and traceability are key elements in our transition towards more sustainable practices and products. Organto is following the development of several solutions, which could be applied in upstream and downstream supply chains.

Our ambition is to provide full transparency on the total value chain (farming, origin, processing, logistic, packaging, storage). We leverage our in-depth market knowledge and supply chain expertise, to link growers to markets to ensure year-round supply of organic fruits and vegetables that can be traced back to the source. We are fully transparent and in control of every aspect in the supply chain process from farmer to customers.

In addition to traceability, Organto sees an interest in the development of digitalization initiatives, bringing more transparency to our customers about the origins of their products. In this still emerging field, our teams will take the lead to assess solutions currently under development and make the best decision for our product portfolio and our customers.
