I am a local red apple from the Netherlands. My birthplace lies in the small town of Zeeland in the Province of North Brabant. The sandy soil is perfect for nurturing an I AM Organic apple. The climate in the Netherlands is also perfect for apples like me, with relatively cold winters and moderate summer temperatures.
I AM ORGANIC FRUIT AND VEGETABLES ARE NOT ONLY DELICIOUS, BUT ALSO SUSTAINABLE. WE FOCUS ON PEOPLE AND PLANET. BY BUYING I AM ORGANIC PRODUCTS, YOU CAN EAT THE WORLD BETTER. TOGETHER, WE CAN ENSURE THAT WE CAN PASS ON THE EARTH TO FUTURE GENERATIONS IN A BETTER WAY.

INSPIRATION & TIPS
OK, you’ve got me. And now? What are you going to do with me? Are you looking for a nice recipe? Will you keep me in the fridge or not? Here’s what to do.
Storage tips
Individual apples can be stored outside the fridge for around 3 to 7 days. Did you know that apples keep longer in the fridge? Up to 2 to 4 weeks.
Sliced apple pieces should always be stored in the refrigerator. The same goes for our apple pieces in fruit cups.
Apples can be frozen for even longer storage. Just remove the core and cut them into pieces. Frozen, apples will keep for 8 to 12 months.
Usage tips
– To flip an apple pancake without it breaking, put a large lid on the frying pan. Turn the pan all the way over so that the apple pancake falls onto the lid. Then carefully slide the apple pancake off the lid and back into the pan. It’s a piece of cake!
– If you peel or slice an apple, you can prevent it from turning brown by sprinkling a little lemon juice over it.
– Is your apple a bit wrinkled? Popping it in boiling water for a bit will make it easier to peel.
